SS06/07 - Luella

Luella’s collection this season was very hit-or-miss with me. “Miss” being any of the things plastered in giant black and white letters, the “hit” being…the rest. The big, crowded letters are a little “too Gwen Stefani,” (in the words of Michael Kors on Project Runway) and don’t really do anything for me. As for the rest of the collection, Luella really mixed feminity and strength in an innovative way. The colors and patterns are exactly right and the pants are daaarling.
